if i have a bunch of heroes in potter's field and it gets negated, where do they go? do they go to discard, territory, or just stay?
Potter's field: set this aside: heros to be discarded are instead placed in this Site (fortress). treat them as discarded heroes.

They stay. Negating a card that holds something doesn't inherently remove anything, they are just in limbo sitting on the card while it's negated.

ok, i was going to make a deck with daniel and potter's field and have invincible heroes if that worked ;D

You can shuffle them out of PF and into deck.

Not super efficient, but if you pair it with a Greek defense, it wouldn't slow you down too much.
