Abraham's Descendant (Di)
Type: Hero Enh. • Brigade: Blue • Ability: 3 / 3 • Class: Territory • Special Ability: Interrupt a Curse or evil Enhancement in play and add it to your hand. Search each discard pile for a good Enhancement and place them beneath owners' decks. • Identifiers: OT, Based on Prophecy • Verse: Genesis 12:3 • Availability: Disciples booster packs ()

If I take your enhancement from your storehouse with this card and play it. Who carries out the ability of the played stolen enhancement?
This is the way Lackey gave it to me. All hail the power of Lackey!

How can you take a card from Storehouse in the first place?
I'm sorry I crammed 11 cookies in the VCR.

i agree. The fortress stipulates when enhancements can be taken out. That stipulation was not negated therefore i think you cant take an enhancement out with Abe's Descendant.

If I "steal" your enhancement from a territory and play it who carries out the ability of that enhancement? owner or controller?

Ohhhh, I see their argument for why you can take one from Storehouse....

I would be inclined to say controller, but I'm not entirely sure.

I'm pretty sure that if you steal an enhancement from an opponent, you get to use it.  Otherwise Taking Egypt's Wealth and Wrestling with God would be pointless.

exactly my point.

Is there a difference between playing an opponents card and activating a place enhancement on an opponents card?

Yes. You control cards in your hand. You control characters in your territory, and on your side of the battle. But for a few obvious reasons (Abom, Set Fire, etc.), you do not control enhancements in your territory if they came from your opponent.
