You shouldn't be able to, but you can, which is why Agur is boss.
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!

There was a 13 page discussion on this topic with the final result being it was interruptable (as it causes a mutual destruction by removal, which transfers initiative). Originally, the PTB said you couldn't (since mutual removal is a win for the EC) but then they switched sides. That thread could potentially be made into a movie some day, given how dramatic it was.

Hey,

The PTB did not come to a consensus on the issue.  Schaef was convinced it could be interrupted.  I'm convinced it cannot be interrupted.  I don't believe Rob has commented on the issue.

can of worms time i guess:

EC can interrupt SS, but Zimri cant inturrupt himself eeven though they both are winning? and this is because in the first example the EC didnt play the SA that is causing the removal?

but at the same time, Zimri is causing the removal himself. SS forces the other person's discard.

Correct, the blocking player is choosing to kill Zimri, the hero would get init, not the ec.

I brought this up with Rob and he ruled that the Evil Character(s) can interrupt Samson's Sacrifice.

This was resolved months ago, it simply was not given a rubber stamp for whatever reason.

Rob has verified again this morning, Samson's Sacrifice can be interrupted as per its original design.
