Does protect, protect from banding abilities. For example, Can gomer band to the opposings players judean kings if Gates of Jerusalem are out?

Yes it protects from banding, so Gomer can't band to them.  Banding would target them and Gates is a blanket protection.

Does this mean that Thadd protects my KoT from being banded in by my gomer?
