1. During a player's prep phase can they play a territory class enhancement and then activate a different artifact in their artifact pile?

2. If a character is captured and they had a weapon on them does the weapon get discarded??

3. If a character is put into a set aside area while holding a weapon does the weapon stay with them?

4. Can the answers from questions 2 and 3 also apply to characters that have placed on enhancements on them? (like destructive sin , fruit of the spirit enhancements from TEC card set?)

1. If you are referring to cov. w/ death, then I brought this up, but never really got a strait answer, other than that it needs to be elder confirmed.

2. Yes.

3. Yes.

4. Yes. (I believe, not as sure, but nearly sure)

Also, Chamber of Angel's removes cards like that, as everything else get's discarded, only the angel is insteaded, I ran into this when I ran angels.

The current answer to number one, as far as I know, is yes. Because there is no distinct artifact phase (which people have argued should be a thing), you deactivate and activate artifacts and play territory class enhancements during your prep phase so you can choose the order you do them.

For numbers 2, 3, and 4, yirgogo is correct and for clarification on 4, enhancements placed on characters are discarded when they are captured.

You sure about this? According to the REG weapons follow the character they are on. The only reason the weapon is being discarded (usually) is that it is following the hero, but since the angel never hit the discard pile (it was insteaded to the fortress), there is no reason why the weapons should go into the discard pile instead of following the Angel like almost every other case.

I was told this by an experienced player when I ran angels, so it could be, but it could have changed, or he could have been wrong. Clarification?

Also, aren't angels considered heroes even when captured? I think this might be, but don't know if I am making stuff up or remembering something.

First, on artifacts, so long as you did not use an optional component on your artifact, you may activate a different one at any time during prep phase.  If you did use an optional component, then you have "chosen" that one to be active (showing that you decided this when you used its ability).

Next, ALL placed cards (weapons or placed generally) follow the card they are placed on wherever they go EXCEPT if the character is captured or if the card is redeemed (then the placed cards are discarded).  They follow to Chamber (or Caves and similar cards) because the original effect 'never happened' and the card follows wherever its host goes.

If a character is captured, all weapons and placed cards are discarded.  However, they are no longer characters, but "captured characters".  That means that they do not count as "heroes" or "evil characters" for cards that reference those card types, and instead can only be targeted as "captured heroes" or "captured evil characters" (or Lost Souls, if not an angel or demon).  They also do not count toward the unique character limit under a single player's control since they are "captured" characters.

I think that was everything...

Questions about captured characters.

1. If a hero is captured (like Samson lets say) what Identifiers remain on him while captured? Name , Judge , brigade color etc?

2. In a type 2 game if player A had their Samson captured by player B , can Player A put another Samson in play?

1. They still have their identifiers.  But if the ability requires you to have a "good judge" or "judge hero" for instance, he would not count because he is a captured character and neutral, not a hero or good character.

2. Captured characters don't count at all against unique counts.
