Potential issue in the REG: Convert

Browsing the REG, I noticed the following oddity under the Special Conditions of Convert:

Quote from: The REG 2.0
If a convert ability creates a Hero blocking in battle or an Evil Character attacking then that character must withdraw to its owner's territory as a response to the convert ability.

Is this actually the case, or is this actually supposed to read 'holder's' territory?  I can see how there would be difficulty wording the condition for the situation where a character blocking had come from the rescuing player's territory, but it could also change where the character goes when an EC has been taken and controlled by the other player.

Can we get some clarity on this part?

I think we should just change it to "territory" and let the host sort it out.  ;)

Ha!

On a more serious note, maybe it is actually intentional:

Quote from: The REG 2.0
Return to Territory
General Description
A return to territory ability puts a card into its owner’s territory.

How to Play
If a card is returned to a territory other than its owner's territory, it is returned to its owner's territory instead.
All return to territory abilities are instantaneous. A return to territory ability targets the cards that are to be returned to territory.

I've never noticed this before, and never seen it ruled that way.  Very interesting...

That is actually an issue I am working on resolving for the next REG update. For now, in the rare instance when it may happen, I would say the REG is correct. If a change is made, then that will be announced with the REG update.

So is the following scenario correct:

1.) I control my opponent's Samson (say due to Stalks of Flax)
2.) I make a RA with Samson
3.) Opponent blocks with Goliath (P)
4.) Samson returns to opponent's territory (even though the 2 turns specified by Stalks of Flax are not up yet)

At this point, that is the only way I could rule with the current REG. Like I said, it won't happen often enough to be too controversial IMO, but it will be addressed whether or not it is a necessary rule for the next REG release.
