If I make a rescue attempt with Isaiah with Isaiah's call (or Daniel) and use hidden treasures to play sword of the lord and make a side battle, are the evil character's SAs still negated?

If I am thinking straight then Call negates their special abilities as long as they are in play and Isaiah is in battle. So yes. I think.
