Say my opponent plays False Peace "Holder may look through his draw pile and select one card and continue fighting.  Shuffle draw pile after play."  and goes and gets New Jerusalem, because he already has Son of God.  Say he uses it and already had 3 lost souls.  Can I play The Battle is the Lord's "If used by a warrior class Hero, negate all special abilities on evil Enhancements of a selected brigade." because I would have played it as soon as the card was played but it wasn't my initiative, and this card would have stopped NJ from being put in his hand in the first place.

If New Jerusalem has not left his hand and you have initiative, you can negate False Peace and force him to return NJ into his deck.

If a dominant has been played, though, there's no way to negate it even indirectly. It cannot be returned to a deck it was Searched from or anything like that once it's hit the table.

Also, if you're saying that he had 3 Redeemed Souls and then played SoG/NJ that would put him at 5.  In a type 1 game as soon as a player reaches 5 the game is over, no more cards can be played, even your Dominants.
Have you visited the Land of Redemption today?
