1. If a player has 2 characters in battle and has initiative to play an enhancement do they have to choose which character the enhancement is played on?
2. If you have 2 heroes in battle and you play an enhancement is the enhancement considered to be played by both heroes?
Would this make sense? :
if a player has purple Matthew and Thomas in battle and has initiative if the enhancement is played on Thomas then the enhancement becomes CBN?
or if played on Matthew then the enhancement can be negated?
3. If a player blocks with unclean spirit (orange SA may band to a human EC) and bands to a pale green evil character with 2K horses on it (draw 2 and play) can they play an orange enhancement on unclean spirit?
4. At the end of a battle if 2 warrior class characters (2 blockers ) that were in battle , survived and both or one of them had a weapon , can you switch the weapons between the 2 characters that were in battle?
-
1) Technically yes, but rarely does it make a difference (or it's obviously better on one character over the other, see next part)
2) Technically you have the choice and it's not played on both, and in your example you could make the enhancement negatable by playing it on Matthew
3) 2kHorses allows the player to play another enhancement, so it can be played on any character in battle and doesn't have to be Pale Green.
4) I don't believe you can swap them, but I could be wrong.
-
4. I don't think you can switch them. Now the real question, and one I don't think has been answered but I could be wrong, is this: If Assyrian archer w/2kH discards a hero in territory and bands to Rabsaris and they win the battle, can Rabsaris take 2kH home with him since archer is being discarded?

So in the case of number three
I could use Scribe-Band to Proud Pharisee and play a black enhancement? Since scribe is both black and gray?

I'd have to see how Proud Pharisee is worded, but if it's the same as 2kHorses then yes.

Proud Pharisee
if another Pharisee is in play, you may reveal your hand to draw two cards. If you have played no enhancements this turn, you may play an enhancement. I would assume so.

Yes, you could play a Black Enhancement if Scribe is in battle.

For #4, I thought weapons could be transferred from one character to another but I would have to review the weapon rules to be sure.

This has been...hazy, and debated. We know for certain that a weapon can be taken by a WC character without one when they leave battle, though whether they are allowed to 'swap' is another matter. I would say no based on the current rules, but also because of consistency of the treatment of placed cards.
Consider this progression:
Weapons follow the 'place' rules once they are attached, and placed cards follow their holder. If in battle and one WC character has a weapon attached pre-battle, and thus placed, if he is discarded by an ability then it follows that the weapon follows the character.
If you want to insist that it does not, and could be equipped to another WC character that could hold it at the end of battle (since that is when the 'in-battle' attachment comes), then what happens if instead that character is withdrawn? By the rules of placed cards, the weapon should follow the character. However, are we going to argue that the weapon stays in battle for another to pick it up?
If we go with that logic, then what about lone WC characters? Would they essentially 'lose' their weapon if they are withdrawn from battle, or returned from hand, or set-aside, with the weapon essentially being treated like it were any other enhancement and being discarded at battle's end?
They are either treated like placed cards, or they are not. We should resolve this much like a 'prior phase' rule, and the more consistent way to handle this is to interpret the rules as follows (additions underlined, deletions with strike-through, moved sections in bold):
Weapon-class Enhancement
This is a special kind of enhancement marked by a shield icon on the left side of the card. Weapon-class enhancements may be held by warrior-class characters outside of battle, and may be placed on a warrior-class character during a player’s preparation or discard phases. The special ability on a weapon-class enhancement only activates in battle.
Weapon-class enhancements can also be played during battle, as normal for enhancements, using the rules of initiative. When this is done, then Ffollowing battle resolution, when enhancements are normally discarded, a warrior-class character’s controller may decide to keep one place weapon-class enhancement(s) on the warrior-class character(s) in that battle that are not already holding a weapon.
Weapons follow the same rules as placed cards by following their bearers to any location in which they are moved. Once a weapon has been placed (either outside of battle or during battle resolution), that weapon is considered 'placed' on that character in all future phases for determining whether the weapon follows the holder.
