Do cards placed on characters like Isaiah's Call and Hating the Light follow character when placed in fortresses, shuffled or captured?
I know with weapon class enhancements this has been discussed but was not sure about placed cards.
-
I'm not sure about captured, but they do follow into fortresses and decks.
-
All cards that are placed on or held by a character are discarded when that character is captured.
In all other instances I can think of they would follow the character where he goes.

Thanks for clearing it up for me.

Glad this came up, I keep forgetting to ask this!
Michael bearing Angel's Sword is discarded. Since only the character is "insteaded" to the Fortress, I've been wondering if weapon is still bound to the discard pile. However, I could completely understand the logic that the weapon follows the character who is no longer being discarded. Whats the principle for placed cards on "insteaded" characters?
Special Ability: Set this fortress aside. If holder's angel is being discarded, place it here instead. After two turns, return Hero to the top of your draw pile.

The weapon follows Michael to Chamber, and later to the top of the deck.

Okay, thanks Jordan.
One last thing: is it safe to say that the "follow" rule applies to all known "instead" situations?
Example:
Covenant with Eden is active. Hero bearing a weapon makes an RA and is blocked with an EC that has initiative, Achan's Sin is played.
Follow rules sends weapon to discard pile?
-
Actually not in that case, because since the placed card is in battle, it is targeted at the same time as the character. The 'follow' rule only applies when the underlying card is targeted and the placed card is not.
If the same Hero was targeted by Sinning Hand, normally the placed card will be removed with the Hero. If Cov of Eden is active, then the Hero is discarded instead, and the placed card follows to the discard pile.
