Do Priestly Breastplate and Simon of Cyrene work?

Also, is there actually a rule about the uniqueness of the different temples?
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!

I'm pretty sure Priestly Breastplate absolutely fails, and eats your artifact slot every turn. Too lazy to check Simon of Cyrene.

I know SirNobody has been preaching that from the rooftop for years, but there's no rule that supports what he's saying and no elder has ever backed him up.

I just went and revisited the Priestly Breastplate ruling, but still don't have a definate answer. This may be a good topic for an elder to put to rest.
