Title: Place on Bottom + Negated Shuffle
Post by: BubbleBoy on May 12, 2011, 11:55:23 PM
So, for example, my opponent uses the Revealer to put the top 2 cards of my deck on bottom. Both of us know what those cards are and in what order they are put on bottom. I then make a rescue attempt with Angel of Warning to search my deck, which is then shuffled, but my opponent blocks with KoT to negate that ability and thus shuffle that card back into my deck. Now if negate is supposed to make it as if the ability never happened, shouldn't I put the cards that I knew were on the bottom back on the bottom?

i dont think so. that would be like saying that since you negated my shuffling i have to put ALL the cards back in the exact order they were in, which would be impossible. I think the only thing that would be negated in the case of negating a card that shuffles is if you shuffled something in to the deck, then you would get that card back out (i think im not sure on that) but no just because you knew what cards were on bottom doesnt mean you get to put them back on bottom when shuffling is negated

I would say no, for no better reason than simplicity.

I believe there's a by-law somewhere stipulating that the action of shuffling is inherently CBI.

I agree.

Okay, that makes sense. I just wanted to make sure there was some kind of rule stopping me from recurring my card order. Thanks guys.
