Not an errata, but a new Son of God to be released in the new Starter Deck.

Still voting no on having it negate SAs on souls.

I agree. Negating the ability on the soul it's rescuing, on the other hand, I'm totally okay with.

How would that help still being able to use it defensively via opponents shuffler...

Sigh.... Because you still have the option to use the old Son of God.

has there ever been a situation of a dominant having two separate abilities? I don't think that would be very good for the game. Try explaining to RLKs that have the new one why I can pull the shuffler move but they can't. With doms at least, keep it consistent.

It is consistent ruling-wise. Just explain there are two copies of lots of cards, and that the one that can negate has it's advantages too, and might even be better.

"Negate and Rescue a Lost Soul."

There.
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!

Because they say two different things, they do two different things?  How hard is that to explain?  There's no precedence because a dominant has never been reprinted in the sense that Goliath was reprinted.  (Yes, HT, NJ, I know...)
