odd repel question

Opponent RA's with a random Judge. They then play Deborahs Directive or some how play a CBN or CBI banding card and band in another Judge. I then play say Lurking (any banding card it doesnt matter) to band Abimelech into the battle. Would I then be repelling any of the Judges in battle? Or since the banding is CBN or CBI would I not being repelling anyone?

*EDIT Hey I just thought this over again and am I getting immunity mixed up with CBN?

Abimelech
Type: Evil Char. • Brigade: Grey • Ability: 5 / 6 • Class: None • Special Ability: Evil Character repels all Heroes with a Judges reference. • Identifiers: OT Male Human, Fought Earthly Battle • Verse: Judges 9:3 • Availability: Patriarchs booster packs (Common)

All heros with a judges reference are ignored by Abimelech

srry compadre, but:

•      “May not be blocked”, “prevent from blocking”, “cannot enter battle”, “have no effect”, “ignore”, and “repel” all mean the same thing.

what really? So that means repelled Heroes are ignored?  I always thought repelled Heroes went straight to territory unlike characters that are ignored...

I thought that for a long time, too.  That might be what an early rulebook or one of the sample games said to do.  Apparently, the ability of 'repel' was officially changed to be the same as 'ignore' about the time that the C/D decks were retired.

Yeah, repel is ignore in the old schools, however, it seems good use ignore, and evil use repel as well. So you can check it out. TY.
