1. Yes. Fishing Boat offers no protection whatsoever to the Disciples, they can be affected by anything that affects set-aside heroes.

2. Yes. If the "except orange" part of Rome meant that they couldn't use Orange enhancements under any circumstances, then they wouldn't be able to play Roman's Destroy Jerusalem, which would be silly. Rome means that the Emperors can play Black, Crimson, Brown, Gray, Gold, and Pale Green enhancements regardless of brigade.

3. No. Marketplace is an exchange. Even though the card in your hand ends up in the discard pile, it is not discarded, it is exchanged. Even so, each cost/benefit ability requires its own cost to be paid. For example, you cannot use the same enhancement to pay the cost for both I am Grace and I am Holy even if they are both active.

4. I'm actually not 100% sure, but I think it depends on whether the optional discard actually happens. If your opponent plays the card and you do the optional discard, I would probably have to rule that you could use Marketplace. But I'm not entirely sure.

5. No. You cannot retreat Asahel to instead Archelaus' discard. Much like you cannot discard a good enhancement from hand to negate Trembling Demon if your opponent has Simon the Zealot's ability active.

EDIT: I guess The Guardian is more sure than I am on #4. I would have to let him explain his reasoning though.

4. Is it a discard ability or an instead ability(for both). I would say sinning hand is a remove ability and an instead ability. If it is insteaded, then it becomes a discard ability (instead). Therefore, triggering Marketplace.
