Can you play a territory class enhancement on a character in you territory during a battle?

I believe the answer is no. I think the territory part of it happens during your play and discard phase and I think that is it.

CJSports is correct. Territory Class enhancements can be played on a character in territory only during the Preparation and Discard Phases. During the Battle Phase, they are played like normal enhancements.
