Simultaneous, Yet Consecutive There has been a practical understanding for years that cards which bring multiple characters into a location at the same time must be dealt with in an order for the purpose of resolving abilities. For instance, if Battle Cry is played, Captain of the Host may be added to battle prior to The Strong Angel and Moses so that his "negate all but banding" will keep other abilities from negating Battle Cry... this method is both intuitive and practical. I like it.
My question is concerning the "state" (i.e. location) of characters in the midst of a "band all"...
Let's use this example:I have 3 heroes in territory: ET, Elishama, and King Jehoshaphat.
I make a rescue with Ethiopian Treasurer.
I play Unified Kingdom.
I intend to band to both heroes in my territory.
I band in Elishama the Priest.
I attempt to place an enhancement on King Jehoshaphat...
Is King Jehoshaphat considered in my territory at this point?I could see it argued that since Unified Kingdom targets all the heroes at once that they are all considered "in battle" even though they are resolved one at a time... What do you guys think?
