Peace played after an interrupt

this is kind of a vague question because it could apply to a lot of situations but let's say:

opponent plays a capture card i get si

play reach, then play peace off of reach

is the interrupted enhancement that is capturing then tossed? or does the capture go through as if it was still played before peace even though peace is now in battle and it's a toss fight

I think since peace is a placed enhancement, it would retrigger after the interrupt.so peace is played, the interrupt ends and the capture reactivates. The hero is captured and peace never had a chance to activate. That's my best guess.

In a related question, does name on name apply to toss?

i know name on name bonus does not factor in to toss

Interrupt doesn't suspend the playing of an enhancement, only the activation of it. So while peace would activate while the capture is suspended, when the interrupt ends it doesn't try to re-play itself, it only reactivates itself. Thus it would not be tossed because you only toss things played from hand (or weapons added to battle) after the toss becomes active and the capture has already been played by this point.

TL:DR, the capture still works.

After reading a little bit of the REG, Praeceps is correct. To clarify a bit, interrupting the ability doesn't undo the beginning of the activation. For an enhancement to be considered played, it's special ability must ATTEMPT to activate. It has done this, and since the interrupt doesn't stop the beginning of the activation, which is declaring the targets.

I have another related question.  Can an ongoing triggered ability be inserted into SI if it is activated in SI after the ability causing SI is interrupted? The REG states:

"While triggered abilities are triggered by a condition or situation happening, they may not insert
themselves between other abilities to resolve. Instead, they are pending until all other abilities
resolve, and then the triggered event may activate.

Pending abilities are special abilities that have not yet activated because other special abilities
are taking place, but will activate when those other special abilities complete. Abilities that
are targeted by an interrupt ability become pending abilities that must wait for any abilities
associated with the interrupt ability complete."

So according to this, triggers wait for all other abilities to complete and interrupted abilities wait for all abilities associated with the interrupt to complete. So if the trigger is associated with the interrupt, which activates first?

As far as I am aware, triggers can never insert themselves during completing or pending abilities regardless of what triggers them or when they are triggered. "Abilities associated with the interrupt ability" refers to any chain reaction special abilities that happen under the umbrella of the interrupt (such as an ITB, draw, play enhancement; the card played with the play ability happens under the interrupt umbrella so the interrupted abilities remain pending until that second card completes).
