Title: Patriarch Travels

I am wondering if using patriarch travels makes characters band or if it just simply brings them into battle. My opponent is using a card that prohibits banding and I am curious if that would stop the card from working, thanks

I believe that any ability that adds a character to battle when there is already a character on that side of battle is considered a "band" ability.

If add to battle results in more than 1 character on the same side of battle (ie 2 or more heroes, or 2 or more evil characters controlled by the same person in battle) it is banding. If not, it is just an add to battle card. I that helps clarify what Browarod said?
