Set aside all of your human heros for one turn. for the next one of those heroes that enters battle, return an evil character in play to the bottom of it's owner's draw pile.

Ok, I have a question concerning this. When this is played and the player sets aside all of his heroes and they come back, is it only one of those heros that gets to return only one evil character on the bottom of the owner's deck or is it for each of those heroes that were set aside.

I believe it's each because the text says "for the next one of those heroes" rather than just one the heroes. I've had some players agree and disagree and I just want to get this ruling down before a tournament shows up again.

It wouldn't make sense if it was only one evil character because then why wouldn't it just say set aside only that one hero to do so. Jephthah is an uncommon and he discards 2 cards for the price of 1 card from a deck while passover & unleaven bread (which is a rare) has to set aside all of your heroes just to return an evil character to the bottom of a deck? That just doesn't add up if it was that way but I want to make sure

It leaves your entire defense open to a DD, which I hear is prevalent in Drew's group.

If it said "next hero" instead of "next one of those heroes" the ability would function differently. I don't see a problem with the wording.

Then the card should say the next hero not for the next one of those heroes. That is causing some confusion.

That would indeed function differently, as it would apply to heroes that weren't set aside. Changing to one changes it back, as "one" refers to the heroes set aside whereas "next hero" refers to any hero.
