Hey, just a ruling question that will retroactively decide the fate of who won a last game of mine.
Situation:
I have four lost souls rescued as does my opponent. Neither have drawn Son of God, but both have lost souls out for rescue on the table.
My active artifact is Golden Cherubim, "If opponent draws because of a special ability he controls, you may search your deck for a card. Cannot be Negated." Opponent plays Mayhem, we both shuffle. He draws six and I draw six. He has Son of God, but I do not. Because my artifact is an ongoing ability, it should activate before he can play any dominants? As soon as I pull my Son of God out of my deck, does it come down to slapjack or do I have the right to respond to my own action first?
In addition to this, the "interrupt, draw 3 and play the next enhancement" abilities (such as swift horses, dream, etc.), does that ability have to fully finish before any dominants can be played?
