Title: Order of operations

I RA with Josh (Enhancements CBN), and play Jehoiada's Strength (band all OT human heroes).

I band both Abiathar and Ira in.  Does Abiathar's ability get negated?

Abiathar (Pi)
Type: Hero Char. • Brigade: Teal • Ability: 5 / 4 • Class: None • Special Ability: Protect this Hero from discard abilities and remove from game abilities. Cannot be interrupted.

Ira (Ki)
Type: Hero Char. • Brigade: Blue • Ability: 8 / 8 • Class: Warrior • Special Ability: Negate all special abilities on non-warrior class characters and non-weapon class enhancements.

He would get negated if you are dumb enough to say Ira's ability activates first.

So I get to choose?  Thanks, I thought it worked that way, but I wasn't sure.
