Are Salome and Herodias Herods for the sake of such cards as Rash Oath and Joanna (Di)? They are Herods by blood line from Herod the Great, but the intent of these cards may have been the ruling position of Herod, which would exclude these ladies from the mix.
Rash Oath
Discard a captured Hero to discard the top card of each opponent’s deck (or top 2 if used by a Herod). Put Lost Souls in play instead.
Joanna (Di)
Discard Herod's Dungeon. Immune to Herods. Negate special abilities on Evil Characters with toughness 2 or less.
