Title: NT Idols?
Post by: Kyp Henderson on June 25, 2013, 03:01:11 PM
Are there any NT idols? Or is Simon the Zealot's second part of his ability worthless? I have tried to looking for clarification on the forums but have not been able to find any.

Simon the Zealot: Negate and discard Rome and a N.T. Idol. First Strike. Protect your hand and deck from opponents’ cards while this Hero remains in play.

The most popular idol is NT: Household Idols. That's pretty much all he can discard at this point.

What about Denarius? Could this be considered an Idol? Maybe the argument for this not being an idol is the same as that money is not idol is is the love of money when loved more than God?

There is an argument there, to be sure, but certainly not a good enough one to merit serious consideration. If we go down that route, way too many artifacts could get the idol label.
