Please include a clear definiton of all parameters of rescue attempts and battle challenges. This includes starting/beginning, success/fail, instant/ongoing, during, following, etc. This will clear up some gray areas on certain triggers on some cards. Here are some examples:

Can a rescue attempt begin mid-battle, i.e. goes from BC to RA? If a battle starts off as a BC with two heroes, one hero leaves battle, access is gained changing to RA, may I discard a demon at that point?

Let's say I begin a BC and choose the blocker. Later in battle I add an access site to gain access to a LS and change to an RA. Does my opponent get to use the EC in The Darkness?
