Title: New Golden calf?
Post by: Jeremystair on June 09, 2018, 04:06:40 PM
Golden calf: restrict players from playing enhancement unless a character is in battle. Negate characters in other territories.

If my opponent enters battle from territory does golden calf prevent their special ability while in battle?

No.

So it’s really only good for TC characters in my opponent’s territory? I figured it’s preventing their abilities when they enter battle, like how Three Woes or CwD works.

Three Woes and CwD continue to prevent the character while in battle. Since the character enters battle then activates its ability, Golden Calf doesn't prevent it in battle.

We were thinking that but weren’t sure. Thanks for clarifying.

If you were thinking that (as I was), then why did you play it the other way?

When Jeremy asked the question on the forum (at my request since I said that I thought that they were wholly negated but wasn’t sure) and we were waiting for an answer, and I asked you two different times if you wanted to play it with them being negated in territory and battle or just in territory why did you say in territory and battle?
