Last year the legal date for CoW was approximately two weeks after the cards started shipping out from Cactus. Based on that, the playtest team made a recommendation to Rob but we are still waiting on his final decision.

I know product is being shipped this week and I am hosting a tournament this Saturday so will my attendees be able to play any kind of event involving revelation of John cards? Maybe you could narrow down the time frame (your best educated guess) to that question.

RoJ will almost definitely not be tournament legal for constructed events this coming weekend. I think last year we allowed CoW to be used in Booster Draft as soon as people had product on hand. If my memory is accurate I could see that being the case again.
