Can you negate an enhancement (in a side battle) that is killing a character (in the main battle) with a negate played on my character in the main battle. Or can I only negate it indirectly by negating the side battle card once the side battle has resolved?

Which character is being removed (one in the side battle, or one in the main battle), and what kind of negate do you have (matching someone in the side battle, or matching a main battle character)?

I should of clarified, I meant to say can I negate an enhancement in a side battle that is killing my character in the main battle with a negate played on my character in the main battle. Or can I only negate it indirectly by negating the side battle card?

You may be able to negate it with a "negate one" ability, but I'm not sure if you get initiative in the main battle before the side battle is over.  If the side battle ends before you get initiative, I think it's no longer in play to be negated, so you'd have to negate the side battle card.

I don't think there is currently any type of negate ability that can negate a used & discarded enhancement played in a side battle. I think a "negate one" would only target an enhancement in play, so I'm pretty sure that wouldn't work. I think negating the side battle is your only option, although maybe there's some sort of "negate all" that can do the job if your opponent's side battle is CBN.

Currently there is no way to stop anything that's harming your Hero in a CBN side-battle (except in that side-battle).
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!

If either the card causing the side battle or the card causing a loss by removal is CBI or CBN, you are out of luck.

Otherwise, depending on initiative and order and alignment of cards played, you may be able to play a negate all, negate last, negate specific, or ITB.

Negate Last usually won't work because most say "this battle" (which the Side-battle is not). I'm a bit hazy on how interrupting cards that are killing you works when other things happen in between the card removing you and a chance to play a card.

Would an interrupt play next work or does interrupt only interrupt the last enhancement played this battle?
