My question pertains to the awesome new cards like Lahmi's spear and Invoking terror. My thought has always been if an enhancement is no longer in battle it cannot be negated. Now the two cards I used as an example might be different, as in order for the Lahmi's spear to take effect it must first be discarded but Invoking terror's effect takes place before it is put under the deck. Does the order affect anything.
he confusing thing is many negate enhancements do different things.
would the kings version of Ehud's dagger work and negate the cards? as it specifies the last evil enhancement played?
Do cards like swords into plow shares negate those type of cards? as soon as the ability completes (and does nothing since there are no cards to discard) wouldn't the character still be discarded? but what about other interrupts (that include a play ability after?
obviously cards like burning bush wouldn't negate those two cards because they aren't in battle and obviously cards that prevent enhancements like Moses would.
What are the pertinent rulings?
