Instant Abilities > Band
How to Use
Any card that adds an additional Hero or Evil Character into battle is considered a banding card.  Once a banding card is played, it adds the selected character(s) into battle immediately (see Example – Optional Special Abilities in the rulebook [p. 14]).  Once banded into battle, characters are no longer associated with the banding card that brought them in.  Therefore, they remain in battle independent of what happens to the card that brought them in.

This seems to suggest the characters remain in battle even if the banding ability is negated or otherwise interrupted/removed. Is this true?

No. That line, although outdated, is just letting you know that if the banding card is discarded, the banded-in card remains.

For example: Aaron RA's and bands in Miriam. Opponent CMs Aaron (who is discarded), but Miriam still battles on. The removal of the banding card does not affect the character banded into battle.

Negate still does what negate does.

The "New REG" is a hoax. That's why they were talking about adding a section on Global Warming.

Really?

*is sad*

Would it be possible to update the current one, then? Just seems like so much of it is outdated.

No, not really.  It is real, just late.

+1 with YMT that that quote seems outdated.  Negating a band sends the character(s) back.
