Negating a Redirect

So when trying to negate a redirect with special inishitive, can you target the redirect or do you have to target the redirected enhancement?

It depends.  If you use an ‘interrupt the battle and...’ ability you can follow up with a negate on the redirect.  If instead you just have a ‘negate an enhacement’ It must target the effect removing you from battle.
