Can you negate a CBP after it's played?

Yes.

CBP means the ability can't be stopped before it's activated (After, you can use a interrupt or negate)
CBI means the ability can't be stopped after it's activated (Before, you can use a prevent or negate)
CBN means the ability can't be stopped at all. (It still can be protected from or insteaded.
