WaS plays Captured by Assyria "Capture a human"
Can I play Book of Gad the Seer "Search your discard pile for any good enhancement with an O.T. reference and add it to your hand."  and go and get The Battle is the Lord's "If used by a warrior class Hero, negate all special abilities on evil Enhancement of a selected brigade." or can I only used one card to negate the capture?

If you played training in righteousness on him and made him purple and then played reach and THEN played the recursion, then yes. Or am I making this too complicated?

Naw, you would play battle cry, band in your ET, who plays great faith, and swaps out for The Battle Is The Lord's. 

Battle cry, to band in your Agur with book of the law up to place the battle is the Lords on your jehosaphat which activates when battle cry bands him in.
