Children of Light+Weapon and Prince of Persia

How does Children of Light interact with Weapons? Do you get to draw 1 and is the weapon protected from opponents?

Prince of Persia is immune to Silver Brigade (except warrior class) so does that mean that he is immune to all silver enhancements even if they are played on a Warrior class Silver hero?

Children of Light: Protect good Enhancements on this Hero from opponents. If you place a good enhancement on this hero, you may draw 1. Cannot be negated by a good card.

Prince of Persia: Immune to silver brigade (except warrior class). Protect Persians from discard abilities on Dominants. Cannot be negated unless Daniel is in play.
If you are reading this signature, thank a physicist.

Weapons are not placed enhancements, in or out of battle, and do not interact with Children's ability at all.

If a card is protected from a character it is protected from all enhancements played by that character.

I never realized this, but based on the wording, PoP would be protected from silver enhancements played by WC angels, as he is protected from all silver cards. Which makes him pretty awesome.

Weapons are not placed enhancements, in or out of battle, and do not interact with Children's ability at all.

Question about that.  This is quoted from the REG, under the "Weapon-class Enhancement" entry:

Quote from: REG_v4.1.2
Weapon-class enhancements may be held by warrior-class characters outside of battle, and may be placed on a warrior-class character during a player’s preparation or discard phases. The special ability on a weapon-class enhancement only activates in battle.  Outside of battle, weapon-class enhancements follow the same rules as placed cards by following their bearers to any location in which they are moved.

Going by that, it seems to me that W.C. enhancements are, in fact, placed on W.C. characters, in which case CoL's ability should apply to them.
Am I wrong?  If so, why?

It seems that way because the REG often uses the same words (in this case, "place") as English words in some places and Card Language in others. In this entry, the word "place" is an English word that is referring to the physical action of putting the weapon on the table. When CoL uses the word "place" in it's ability, it is referring to cards that are placed on it via a place ability. Weapons are not put on the characters via an ability. The line about them following the rules of placed enhancements just explains the circumstances in which they do or don't stick to the character. To avoid this confusion the entry should say something like "may be attached" instead of "may be placed" and include the specific rules they follow once attached instead of telling you to go check the entry of a completely different ability.

I agree with Kevin's response.

The big difference between weapons and the Armors of God is that WC characters have an inherent "Holds" ability that allows them to hold weapons of matching brigade outside of battle.  This is why weapons can be held outside of battle, similar to how Fishing Boat holds Disciples or Goshen holds heroes.  Instead of putting a notation about this in the identifier line for every single WC character, it has simply been defined as part of the game rules that apply to WC characters and weapon-class enhancements.

No such rule applies to the Armors; they are only placed via a Place ability, and that can only happen after they have been played and activated.
If creation sings Your praises so will I
If You gave Your life to love them so will I
