Hey there,

I've had some difficulty with these questions and if someone more knowledgeable then myself could please answer them, It would be much appreciated.
I will be requiring a Yes/No answer and Why, Thanks everyone.



1.) Egyptian warden, does it give your opponent initiative to play an enhancement if you use his capture ability and are winning the battle?
A.) What kind of cards can you play if do have initiative (interrupt & prevent, negate, interrupt and remove, interrupt and discard... etc)

2.) When Moses enters battle he interrupts everything and prevents, so by that logic would Moses
only prevent the enhancements played after him and interrupt the enhancements
played before him?

3.) Does Elijah get a name on name bonus from Elijah's mantle?

4.) Can you interrupt the battle and set a side a character who is immune?
A.) What happens to the enhancements if the entire battle is interrupted and the Characters set a side?
B.) Do the enhancements still go through?

5.) you play coliseum lions (discard a hero in battle enhancement) they interrupt your enhancement and discard you character, does C.L. go
still go through even though there is not an E.C. left in battle to play the enhancement on?

6.) if you add a site guard to battle does it return to territory afterwards?
A.) if the site is shuffled/discarded/removed from the game, does the guard become discarded?

7.) if have a card that states "interrupt the last enhancement played", can you interrupt any enhancement in battle or only the last?

8.)does magic charms add characters to raiders camp when it's discarded?
a.) can you use magic charms whenever a battle happening
   a1.) before a blocker is presented?
   a2.) (multiplayer game) when your characters are not in battle?
   a3.) you present an EC to block and then proceed to discard magic charms from your EC in territory?

9.) with sent two be two, if you have a disciple and say micheal in battle can you band another disciple into battle?

10.) Do multicolored sites (Dragon raid, promised land etc) also count as single color sites?

11.)If I have nazareth occupied with a lost soul and my opponent makes a
rescue attempt with hurr, do I just draw cards in addition to the cards in my hand?
A.) What happens if they use mayhem when nazareth is occupied?

12.) I play an enhancement that lets me return an enhancement from the discard pile and play the next enhancement, my opponent
negates the enhancement that let me return it. Does the enhancement still go through since you "cant unplay cards"?

13.) Do all converted heros and evil characters retain their abilities?

14.) when a fortress is shuffled/discarded/removed from the game/negated etc... Where do the cards it was holding go, if the hold
ability is not an identifier?

15.) Can genderless characters rescue the female only lost soul... as a side note I don't understand
how a human (or group of) could possibly be genderless?!


When making a type 2 deck:

16.) Do single color lost soul sites count as a neutral cards for deck building purposes?
17.) Do curses/covenants count as evil/neutral/good?

Yes, Interupts and negates

Yes, and he negates characters too

yes, they are set aside I think...

Yes, I think it goes where the site goes but not positive

No, He isn't lone

Yes

Heros No, ECs as long as the ability doesn't harm heros yes

1.) Yes. If you're being removed from battle you will always have initiative (given the same card isn't ending the battle, such as ANB does)
A.) Anything that interrupts whatever is removing you may be played. This may be interrupt + prevent (aka negate) would indeed work. Interrupt the battle + do something unrelated to the battle could be played, however you'd still resume being removed after it finishes. Interrupt + anything that stops the ability from reactivating (such as conversion, discard, etc) would also save you.

2.) Interrupt and prevent equates to negate. Old wording. Moses negates everything played before or after he enters battle.

3.) Name on name only works with enhancements.

4.) Yes, if it interrupts their immunity.
A.) The enhancement is set aside until the characters return. After that, the enhancement is discarded.
B.) They would go through if they weren't interrupted. If they were interrupted and are unable to reactivate after being set aside, they won't go through.

5.) No. Interrupt temporarily suspends the discard, and by the time it is no longer suspended it has no one to activate on. Enhancements need someone to activate on.

6.) Yes. After battle characters return to territory (if they survived) provided SAs don't claim otherwise.
A.) I'm not sure on this. I know when regarding forts characters follow the fort, but I'm not sure if this applies to sites.

7.) If it says last, it means the last.

8.) No. The artifact is capturing, not the character.
a.) Yes :)
   a1.) Yes.
   a2.) Yes
   a3.) Yes.

9.) No. Lone disciple means a disciple that is the only hero in battle, not if only one disciple is in battle.

10.) No. They are multi color.

11.) Yes. You do as much as you can. This gets fun with choose the rescuer
A.) Mayhem is a 'to' ability. If you can't shuffle, you can't draw.
SIDE NOTE: NAZARETH DOESN'T HAVE TO BE OCCUPIED TO WORK.

12.) A couple elders recently told me enhancements can be indirectly negated which would put them back, or something like that.

13.) ECs converted to heroes keep abilities that don't target good cards. Heroes converted to ECs don't keep abilities.

14.) Cards follow their fortress.

15.) No. Genderless more refers to we don't know their gender, or there may be both genders present. Seems more appropriate than both genders :p

16.) Yes
17.) Curses are evil, covenants are good.

1. If you use Warden's ability to capture the only Hero in battle, your opponent has initiative, but only to play an enhancement that interrupts or negates his ability. If you use Warden's ability to capture one of several Heroes in battle, then your opponent only has initiative if Egyptian Warden is beating the remaining Heroes by the numbers. For instance, if you attack with Elders of Jerusalem (3/3 White, can band to each other), and I block with Egyptian Warden and try to capture you, you can play Words of Encouragement to interrupt me, or Blessings to negate my ability. If you attack with 2 Elders of Jerusalem, and I use Warden to capture one of them, then you are now losing the battle, and have initiative to play any enhancement. If you attack with 3 Elders and I capture one with Warden, then you are still beating me, and I have initiative to play an enhancement.

Yes. Interrupt "pauses" enhancements played before it and allows you to do something else before the ability of the enhancement completes. Prevent stops enhancements from ever activating. Negate goes both ways: it stops enhancements played before it, and prevents enhancements played after it. Moses is a negate (which is also worded interrupt and prevent on some older cards. So depending on your version of Moses, you might see it either way).

No. NoN Bonus is only for enhancements played on characters whose name is in the enhancement. It doesn't count for Artifacts.

Yes, as long as the immunity can be interrupted, and interrupt the battle will "pause" the immunity and set the immune character aside before the immunity kicks back in.

Depends. The guard follows the Site wherever it goes, unless an SA says otherwise. So if a site is shuffled, the guard is shuffled, if the site is discarded, the guard is discarded, etc.

Yes. As long as any battle between any two people is going on, you can discard Magic Charms at any time from your magician anywhere in play.

No. A Disciple is not lone if another Hero is in battle, even if that hero is not a Disciple.

No. If a card says single-color site, Dragon Raid, etc. don't apply. However, you are allowed to put Lost Souls in multicolor sites, but every Hero has access to them.

Yes. Your hand can't be shuffled, but you can still draw.

They have to shuffle their hand and draw 6, you do nothing. The difference between Mayhem and Hur is the "to". Hur says shuffle hand AND draw 7, Mayhem says shuffle hand TO draw 6. For Hur, that means that even if you can't shuffle your hand, you can still draw 7, but for Mayhem, you can only draw 6 if you shuffled your hand.

Any cards in any Fortress follow the Fortress if it is discarded, shuffled, removed from the game, etc. If a Fortress is interrupted/negated, anything that was there because of a hold ability stays put, unless the interrupt/negate card says otherwise.

No. Genderless characters are neither female nor male for Redemption purposes. Also, in Redemption terms, genderless does not mean "without gender" it means "gender unknown". So since it is not known whether or not Idolators or Angry Mob was all male, all female, or a mix of both, the gender is regarded as being unknown.

All sites, single and multi color, are neutral cards. Curses are evil, Covenants are good.

So evil banding goes?  What about this situation (Booster TEAMS, I thought I was rather clever.)
Ananias gets converted.  Next turn, I draw Sapphira, and make a BC with Sower to convert her too.  Can they still band, now that they're both heroes?  (minus the complete theological unsoundness of it all)
