Yes.  There are color differences as the game evolved in its first couple years, but the old green is equivalent to pale green, the old gold is equivalent to evil gold, and the old red is equivalent to crimson.

Now for my quarterly gripe about gold:

"Gold should be good and yellow should be evil.  The rationalization that gold represented good and evil in the Bible is a bunch of hoo-ha.  Silver, red, and other colors also represented good and evil in the Bible.  Please make a distinction."

[/quarterly gripe]

Stick to your crusade against redeemed Demons. The Good/Evil Gold dynamic isn't broken, and Yellow Brigade sounds stupid.

Yeah, you're about 14 years late on this one. :) Even the Limited cards called both good and evil "Gold," unlike Crimson (Limited Compassion of Jeremiah calls it "Red") and Pale Green (Limited Submissiveness of Mary calls it "Green").

Way back in the day, I remember trying to use Holy Grail to convert my dad's ECs to Chartreuse brigade, because why not?

Create Burnt Sienna, for all I care.  Just get rid of/change colors that represent both good and evil alignments.

The fact that you have to ask illustrates the point.

Also, when I play my Judges/Egyptian deck, I get so confused and start playing Capturing Canaan on Potiphar's Wife.
My wife is a hottie.
