Haman's plot rip ruling

At a tournament i ripped a haman's plot. But, i ripped it from its side dimension so the card is still intact from a sleeve perspective. Is it legal to play again?

no once haman's plot has been rippied it cannot leaglly be played any longer.

Oh great, so now I have to take all Haman's Plots out of their sleeve when I do deck checks to keep people honest. Good grief.

Remember the difference between 'rip' and 'peel/split'.  I guess the verb that can be properly used for the action made on your HP was more of a 'peel/split'.
