Revolt SA: ITB. EC may band to any number of non-Roman Evil Characters. Set aside all characters in battle until you begin a RA.

"He is Risen: ITB and set-aside X EC for X turns. You may add a N.T angel to battle.

1. When revolt is played and all EC are banded into battle , does all special abilities of all evil characters that are banded into battle get a chance to activate before all characters are set aside or after all characters in battle are set aside??

or do the evil character special abilities do not activate at all??

2. When "He is Risen" is played and that player decides to add a N.T angel to battle does the special ability on the banded N.T angel activate after all evil characters are set a side or does it activate before evil characters are set aside or does it activate at all??

Going by the new Ability Activation Order in 5.0, it looks like everything EXCEPT banding always happens first. So that would seem to make Revolt add in ECs after all the original characters are gone (Which doesn't make sense) and HiR would also add after everything else on the card. I'm not sure if the AAO only applies to characters and if not where to find a similar description of how enhancements activate.

The Ability Activation Order is only for characters. Everything else is as written.

1. So for revolt , does all the banded EC abilites activate before all characters in battle are set aside (rescuing player's hero does not negate or interrupt revolt during SI) or does all EC abilites finish activating and then the rescuing player gets SI to negate or interrupt the revolt ability?

2. For "He is Risen"  does the SA on the N.T angel activate after the EC in battle has been set aside (does not negate or interrupt "He is Risen" during SI) or does it activate before the EC is set aside??

1. EC abilities happen before they are set aside.

2. Angel's ability happens after SI.
