I guess it depends on if your opponent has to put The Chosen character in battle at all? I always thought that when you pre blocked with a choose the character that you fight they didn't have to be brought into battle but if your opponent was going to put any character in battle that's the one they had to play.
Okay so then if the character is brought into battle by Asahel's special ability then the player who owns warden did not play a card. So wouldn't Warden have the initiative?

If activating the ability is what determines which card was played last then ossa hills ability completes after wardens completes plus it's wardens initiative. Just like my first post. I understand that goes against what Justin just said.

If I choose the evil character and bring him into battle didn't I play the last card (Warden)? even though it was off of my special ability? Wouldn't that give my opponent the initiative?
I understand what you're saying and I kind of agree but it sounds like they have no choice in the matter. It's brought into battle no matter what and they don't get initiative because they played a card. How is that fair? I can't even interrupt this ability.
