Short and sweet.No. I was right...No. I figured as much, but still, it was worth a shot...No. I still don't understand this. why not? can't War Officer choose a lost soul in a site even though his ability is the only thing allowing him to?
Why can't "my" Namaan block my "opponent's" Namaan?Quotation marks differentiates who is controlling them to make sure I'm understanding the first question right.
It was my understanding that in type II you have to establish the ls you want to rescue right at the beginning of battle. So I don't think you can choose after his ability completes. But since I'm a type II n00b, I could be wrong.
this is true. but is a character in battle before or after his ability completes? and why do access to any site people get the chance to rescue, when Hur and Woman at the Well do not?

That's what Rob decided.

That's what Rob decided.Wow. I'm glad this was asked, since I'm about to hold my first ever Type 2 event. I did not know about this ruling, either. Of course, I probably ignored the thread at the time since I had no interest in a Type 2 discussion.

Wait what? When are you holding a t2 event?
March 20th or 27th for a District tournament, which requires a minimum of four events. I was going to include a Type 2 category as one of them. I am just waiting for the Weiss' to confirm which day is best since one of those weeks they have prior obligations.
