It would be 3 of your turns, and on the 3rd turn, they would return. So when they are set aside, you would put 3 counters on them. Each upkeep phase, right after you draw, you would remove a counter. When there are no counters left, you return them to territory.

Not confusing at all, in fact it is a great question. The three turns essentially means three counters in the Upkeep Phase. So you set them aside on any turn (most often yours, though it is sometimes possible to use set aside enhancements during battle on your opponent's turns). On your next turn they gain 1 counter on your Upkeep Phase, and another counter for each of your Upkeep Phases after that. When they hit three counters (so three turns after the turn they were set aside) they come back to your territory during your Preparation Phase.

Hopefully that makes sense, if you still have a question on it, let me know.

EDIT: Instaposted. Whether you put 3 counters on and remove them each turn, or simply add 1 each turn until there are 3, is really up to you. They just keep track of how many turns have passed.

Hi again! So I opened a Thesaurus box today, and I pulled a Goshen (Wa).

I assume this is one of the Fortress-Sites mentioned a few posts back? Before the Fortress Icon was introduced?

I play it just like a fortress, right?

I also got some pretty cool pulls such as Astrologers.

Yes, that was one of three that I mentioned earlier.

You are correct.  ;D

Another Question! Lazarus's ability confuses me a bit.
http://redemption.wikia.com/wiki/Lazarus_(Di)
May I begin a new battle even if there is no convert enhancement in my discard pile? And when I begin a new battle, is that new battle with my defeated Lazarus? Or do I start the new battle with a different hero?

Thanks!

So you lose the Rescue attempt with Lazarus, you search your discard pile for a good convert enhancement.  If you have one great, add it to hand, if not discard Lazarus and begin a new rescue attempt with another Hero.

Okay thanks! Also, with Thirty Pieces of Silver, when does the ability activate? When I choose it to? Or when the artifact activates? Could someone explain the card a bit more? Thanks so much :)

The play as pretty much covers this one for you:

Regardless of battle outcome Hero is discarded. David's Harp has no effect. May be used twice. Errata/Play As: Regardless of battle outcome, discard one Hero in play at the end of battle that you blocked. Negate David's Harp. May be used once per battle and twice per game.

I do think it need to be worded a little bit different.  It is basically if you are attacked, one of the heroes that attacked you can be discarded.  But there is a clarification as well:  If you are attacked and you use something like Korah's Rebellion, Wrath of Satan or anything to kills/gets rid of the hero, then you still use a turn on this even though you didn't discard a hero with it.  So basically it can be active for two turns that you are attacked.

I would say that is an errata disguised as a play as.  30 pieces has no official errata, and that play as changes the ability, so I think that play as should be disregarded.

1 Unique per Table? Or Player?

Hey everyone, I'm in need of ruling help once again. :P

Say I play Pharoah (H) into my territory, and then my opponent plays Pharoah (H). But Pharoah is Unique, so what happens? Does play continue as usual? If not, then what happens?

Thanks!!

The rules for unique cards apply to each player separately, not to the entire table.  You can't control 2 copies of the same unique character, so you can't band to their Pharaoh while yours is on the table.

can there also not be multiple unique characters in one battle owned and controlled by separate players in multi?

That is correct. If you rescue with King Saul (purple Hero), I cannot block with King Saul (brown Evil Character).
Have you visited the Land of Redemption today?
