My Lord and My God doesn't interrupt, it negates. Often you get the same end result but there is a difference. Negating an Evil Character will stop it's SA.
But if your loosing the battle by removal then you would have to interrupt the enhancement first right?
It depends on whether the numbers on Characters are also negatable. I'd hazard a guess that only the abilities on Enhancements are Negatable.
I don't know that negating the numbers on a character has ever come up before. I would guess that character numbers cannot be negated.
My understanding of the different kinds of negates:"Negate the SA of an enhancement" - only negates the SA, the numbers still count"Negate and discard an enhancement" - negates the SA, the numbers don't count anymore"Negate an enhancement" - negates the SA & numbers, but the cards stays in play
As I said, the discussion was inconclusive, as evidenced by the two posts above this one. We will need a final ruling that must be added to the appropriate "New Rulings" thread, since there will be plenty of hosts for whom this will be a new ruling regardless of which way we go.Interrupt and Prevent are both clearly defined to only affect SAs. Negate most closely resembles these game mechanisms, so I will continue to support the default that negate only affects SAs.
