REG: Turn: A turn begins with the Draw Phase and ends with the Discard Phase. A player announces he is finished at the end of his turn.

Many cards refer to a turn(s) being completed to fulfill a s/a. If a card is being played in between the Draw Phase and Discard Phase. Does it require a completed cycle beginning with a Draw Phase and ending with a discard phase or is the requirements of the turn completed when the next draw phase occurs?

Hey,

A turn is incremented during the upkeep phase.  So a one turn requirement is met on the first upkeep phase after the requirement is introduced.

Note that many card that count turns really mean rounds (the prime example of this being set-aside cards) and thus only count the upkeep phase of the player that controls them.
