I don't think so because Confusion of Mind negates all opponents all the time. In a MP game, Confusion of Mind does not just negate the Heroes of the player you are attacking/blocking at a given moment.
"Negate all special abilities on opponents' Heroes. An opponent may discard..."
However, “an opponent”, “any opponent”, “one opponent”, “opponents' ”, or “each opponent” is any player in the game other than you.
