I have Storehouse in play holding Overcome!. I create a side battle on offense and control my magician in the side battle. I play Mimicking Miracles, copying Overcome!. If I reveal a good Dominant from hand, can I return Mimicking Miracles to hand after battle?
Relevant portion of the "Copy" entry from the REG:
"Copy abilities last until the card with the copy ability leaves the field of battle."
-
Caveat: without checking on my battle resolution rundown of when enhancements are discarded.
Mimicking Miracles says at the end of its ability "until end of turn"
Overcome states "return this card to hand after battle"
So there doesn't seem to be a problem with the cards, so turning to the entry of "copy" in the reg you would have to look at the battle resolution rundown because that is what happens after battle.
My gut instinct says "no" you don't get it back, but this is tricky enough that I could be persuaded either way.

Not knowing the exact wording of the cards off the top of my head, I'm not sure... ::)
-
Mimicking Miracles - "If used by a magician, you may copy the special ability of an Enhancement until end of turn."
Overcome! - "Negate an evil card or discard an evil character. You may reveal a good dominant from hand to return this card to hand after battle."
-
I believe that is a legal play, yes.

Nah, just play Overcome! and then Faith of Gideon on a Clay hero, then copy the Overcome! in the main battle ;)

Note to self...study what the Battle Resolution phase does and does not do.
This is the 2nd ruling question I've gotten wrong because of my understanding (or lack thereof) of Battle Resolution. :-[
