I'm sure it's probably been asked, but I have a couple questions about Magic Charms...  Ok, so just before you enter battle, you can "Activate" MC on one of your magicians, correct?  If you don't use the ability and your character lives, does it remain equipped, or does it return to your artifact pile?  If you don't use it and your character dies or is removed from battle, is MC discarded/removed with the EC magician that it was activated on?  And for either of the two, if it remains in play, is it still activated?

Yes, you can activate MC on one of your magicians during artifact activation phase (on your turn).

It remains equipped on the character.

Cards always follow their holder, so yes, the artifact would be discarded/removed with the evil character if you did not use it in battle.  That is why you must be careful when using this card.  It is often most helpful to activate it on a character in territory that you do not plan to block with.

Yes.
