Two questions, both of which may have been discussed before, but I can't find the answer:
1) Can magic Charms be played and activated on the Magi or a converted Magician?
2) Does the character that uses Magic Charms have to be in battle?
"Protect your Magicians from capture and conversion. You may discard this card from your Magician during battle to capture up to two human Heroes."

1. "Magician" is ruled to be an identifier that only applies to EC's in Redemption.
2. No ;D

So, if you convert an evil magician (with MC not active of course), they loose the magician identifier? Thats pretty cheap.

it makes sense though. to be a magician, you have to invoke magic. magic deals with the occult. when you become a Christian, you can no longer have the close contact with the occult. although, not all heroes are "Christian"

I know, but there has never been a case before where a character looses an identifier, has there?

usually because identifiers refer to nationality, race and gender.

A converted Angel has always become a demon as long as I've been playing.

Good point. Still is that the official ruling, that Magicians can only be evil characters?
-
Yes.
