Does a Weapon played on Mike negated if converted by David's Tent?

Micheal
12/6 Silver Warrior Class Hero
Revelation 12:7
Enhancements played by Micheal cannot be negated.

David's Tent
Multi Good Fortress
1 Samuel 17:54, Holds any # of weapons
If your Hero defeats an Evil Character carrying a weapon class enhancement, take weapon and place it in this Site. During Site phase, holder may convert a weapon here to any good brigade and place on a warrior class Hero. Special ability on converted weapon has no effect.

I think I may know the answer, but I want to be sure.
They seem pretty lame as fighters maybe we should challenge them to a dance off or a redemption game

As the tent isn't Negating the Sa and is really removing it from the card I would assume the Sa will not carry over.
The only reason people get lost in thought is because it's unfamiliar territory.

"Has no effect" is old wording for ignore, so I would agree with the two posters above: David's Tent doesn't negate the ability, it just ignores it (much like a Hero converted to an EC) so even played on Michael the enhancement's special ability would not work.

Ahimelech, Priest at Nob Sa says: "Search discard pile for a weapon class Enhancement and place on your warrior class Hero that has no weapon and convert weapon to that Hero's brigade.

"I'm assuming your looking for two thousand horses." So in play you could discard two thousand horses from hand at some point in play. Then make a rescue attempt with Ahimelech and search for 2KH and place it on Michael in your territory.

Its a long process but the result is awesome.

Another nice place (not as epic as 2K horses) is Angels Sword on Ashael, with his CTB ability.

Special Abilities cannot be ignored, only Characters or Brigades. David's Tent needs a play-as.
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!

Oh, well then problem solved. Whoever posted the SA just posted the wrong thing.

Michael would not be able to use it CBN because by the time his SA activates, the weapon has already been negated. CBN cannot be granted retroactively.

I don't understand... Why wouldn't Mike make it CBN?

David's tents ability activates first, michael's ability does not undo that.

It offically Negates it, but Enhancements used on Mike are CBN and according to the rules of Negating if a card is Negated before it's effect is active it's prevented but then a card makes it CBN that overrules that ability. At least that was my understanding.

Mike's ability is only active in battle.  Cards can't get retroactive CBN (i.e., I can't play FiOHP after you've negated my "He is Risen" to make "He is Risen" CBN.)  The weapon was negated before Mike could make it CBN, so it was negated.

That is correct. For example, Wheel Within a Wheel will not be CBN when played by Michael unless played in battle. If you can get that to happen, put it on TSA so you can't be stopped by Uzzah, CM, UW, Grapes, or any other meta-block that's not KoT.
