Can you youse the card Lurking when your opponent plays angel of the lord so  only that charactar dies not the evil character that was banded into battle by lurking

If I understand your question, You should note that Angel of the Lord only discards ONE evil character in battle, the second one should still be alive and in battle.

My understanding of the question was that he had one EC in battle and his opponent played AotL. He then wanted to play Lurking to interrupt the battle and band in another EC so that one would be left after AotL completed.

That is why I answered the way I did.

I was just making sure that this info was offered.  I read it the way it was intended, but just in case I offered this tidbit.  I wasn't trying to say that YMT answered the wrong question, I was trying to offer supporting advice, in case he played lurking first and his opponent played that and tried to stop it I have seen it happen that way before.
