Why does the "and" ruling (you may X and Y means you may X and you may Y) not apply to Love?
I do think it's stupid that "may," which has nothing to do with with the "x and y" construction changes how otherwise identical wording is played. Yes, it's a consistent rule, and yes, it works, but YMT hit the nail on the head.
Followup, why are only targets eligible for the healing eligible for the convert?
Whether it is optional or mandatory has nothing to do with the "x and Y" construct.

Are you just trying to be difficult?
I have said nothing contrary to the fact that this is the way it *is*, but that is the angle you are attacking from.
Pol, the elders discussed Love a while back and determined that you do not have to heal in order to convert. You can play Love and only convert. I'm pretty sure this was announced, but I haven't searched for it yet.
Are you ever wrong?
